     When it was time for our mother to move to a personal care home, we visited several facilities in the Johnstown area. The Villa was unlike any of the other places we had seen. It reminded us of a bed and breakfast. There was just a short distance to and from the living quarters and the dining and activity areas. The resident rooms are large and inviting. A chapel area is provided for residents of any denomination to worship.

 

     A year has passed since our mom moved to the Villa. Mom's health has consistently improved. She has made many new friends and enthusiastically participates in daily activities. She is again the vibrant person we have always known her to be.

 

     We are forever grateful to the owners and staff at the Villa.

     As a caregiver for an aging mother with dementia/Alzheimer's, it was very reassuring that my loved one was in competent hands. The staff at the Villa was caring and supportive and would go out of their way to accommodate any special needs. If I had to leave town for a short time, I was always sue her level of care would remain constant. She was always in good Hands.

      My mother has been a resident of the Villa for over five years. The staff is caring and attentive. The activities and entertainment are great. The facility is well kept, the food is tasty. There is no place like home, but when your loved ones can no longer be at home, the Villa is the next best thing.
